About the Journal
Understanding discourse in a changing communicative world
Journal of Language, Discourse, and Communication (JLDC) is an international peer-reviewed journal that examines how language and discourse function within communication across social, cultural, political, media, and institutional contexts. The journal publishes original research at the intersection of linguistics, discourse studies, and communication, covering areas such as discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, media and digital communication, and institutional discourse practices.
JLDC welcomes theoretically grounded and empirically driven studies that address issues of meaning, identity, ideology, and power in both local and global contexts. By connecting disciplinary perspectives and real-world communication practices, JLDC provides a platform for research that is analytically rigorous, internationally relevant, and socially meaningful.
